This event provides an opportunity for students from Exploits Valley High in Grand Falls-Windsor to participate in a digital health innovation project, learning skills and fostering interest in and understanding of the opportunities in health innovation.

As part of Innovation Week 2020, this event combines knowledge, mentorship and enthusiasm for health innovation as we continue to grow the medical technology sector and advance health innovation in Grand Falls-Windsor and Newfoundland & Labrador.

As global food demand rises, experts predict the percentage of edible protein that comes from the sea will grow by 34-74% by 2050. That’s 21-44 million additional tonnes of seafood! This growth not only presents an economic opportunity for Newfoundland and Labrador, but also points to the importance of developing and maintaining healthy, sustainable oceans.
